As a board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Hansen specializes in treating tumors and cancers of the eye. He also treats medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous. Dr. Hansen is serving as the Director of Ocular Oncology at the University of Utah Moran Eye Center. His primary clinical and surgical interests include diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, macular degeneration, macular holes, and epiretinal membranes. Dr. Hansen also is very active within the local and international community through education and systems development.
