Dr. Lister grew up in the small southern Utah community of Paragonah. After completing his high school education at Parowan High, he went on a Church service mission to south Africa. Dr. Lister received a Bachelor’s in Biology from Southern Utah University, where he met and married his wife, Jennie. He obtained his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University in 2015. His first job after school led his family to New Mexico, where they learned to love green chili on everything. He spends his free time with his wife enjoying his hobbies: hiking, fishing, four-wheeling, and birdwatching.
