My wife and I scheduled our annual eye exams at Richen’s Eye Center based on the recommendation of a friend who has a serious eye condition. Dr Karrin saw us both and I don’t think that I have ever had a more thorough eye exam in my life like this. The doctor was knowledgeable and very patient. As we are getting to the age where we need to pay attention to cataracts, I feel confident that Richen’s Eye Center will be the best place for us to care for our vision in the long term.

Dr. Richens has provided exceptional care for my father over the past 10+ years, treating his macular degeneration and managing complications from a stroke that caused retinal artery occlusion. Her expertise in developing personalized treatment plans to slow disease progression has been invaluable. What truly sets Dr. Richens apart is the combination of medical excellence and genuine compassion. She and her team create a warm, supportive environment where they take time to thoroughly explain procedures and treatment options. They remember personal details and treat my father with dignity and respect, making each visit comfortable despite dealing with complex eye conditions. Dr. Richens never rushes through explanations and ensures our family feels fully informed about his care plan. Her commitment to patient education has helped us understand his conditions and feel confident in treatment decisions. After a decade of consistent, high-quality care, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Richens and Richens Eye Center. My husband and I were both seen by Dr. Wagner and his staff and were beyond impressed. The office was hopping with at least 6 possible 8 people being seen or waiting and yet the environment was well controlled and each person was attended to. The young men in the back were outstanding. They answered ALL of our questions and were so very nice. Having a laugh together helps settle nerves.. Seeing a new doctor is not always a great experience and often comes with a great dealing of interpretation. This feeling quickly vanished once we met Dr. Wagner. He is welcoming, takes his time listen and explaining each step in the process as well as why it is important. He sat with us and just had an easy conversation about much need surgical intervention and helped us feel comfortable with moving forward with them. Dr. Wagner is not only an excellent doctor, he is kind soul. We are thankful to have him and his staff here in Mesquite.

I was so impressed with the eye doctor. He was friendly and answered all of my questions. The gentleman who checked me in before the doctor came in, had an attitude. When I told him I was not comfortable having the pressure test on my eyes, he said he was not going to waste his time on me and walked out of the room.

Terrific staff. They were centered on my needs and questions. They made me feel comfortable. Cameron was great. He explained everything in the procedure before doing anything. A definite recommendation.

I have been a patient with Dr. Sharon Richards for over 23 years. She is very knowledgeable , with Senior patients I trust her diagnosis and treatment 100% a very pleasant professional atmosphere in the entire office. Lenny Bagwell.

This was my first visit and I had nothing but positive things to say about every member of the staff there from entrance to exit. I was updated after my appointment promptly and it was really impressed by their customer service. This is the best experience I’ve ever had with a medical facility.
