In late 2021 at 50 years old I learned that I had developed subcapsular cataract in my left eye. By the summer of 2022 I had it in my right eye as well and my left eye had worsened. I had never heard of light adjustable lenses, but I was very interested in learning more because my vision needs to last me many more years. The staff at Richens Eye Center in St George was awesome. Every single team member from the front desk to Dr. Richens herself performing the two surgeries were honest, kind, professional and excellent at their work. The LAL technology is remarkable, the process was smooth and my results feel amazing. I can see so well at a distance, intermediately and even up close, other than reading the finest print. I can also see very well at night! I am so grateful for everyone who worked with me and cared for me. They all feel like family to me now!
