As a board certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Shakoor's specialties include medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous, along with diagnosing and treating uveitis and other infectious and inflammatory eye diseases. His primary clinical and surgical interests include diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, macular and retinal degeneration, macular holes, and epiretinal membranes, plus medical and surgical treatment of ocular inflammatory diseases. Dr. Skakoor also practices at the John A. Moran Eye Center.
