I see Dr May, he’s the best. Staff keeps everything moving so you’re not waiting for a long time. I always recommend Richens Eye Center.

Super efficient, thorough, and friendly!

First visit: Watch out!! They don't tell you before hand that your insurance won't cover the entire cost of your yearly exam, in spite of the fact that they have many patients that carry the same insurance you do! When Richens acquired this practice from Dr. Andrus, they didn't just remodel the office, they jacked the prices way up! But you won't find this out until the bill comes. My annual checkup in the past consisted of a single billable item, now it's billed as separate items and it is MUCH MORE expensive!! Richens is definitely NOT Dr. Andrus!! Second visit: My wife just took her 93 year old mother for her check-up. Her mother has a hard time getting around and it is difficult for her to sit for long periods of time. She communicated all of this when she made the appointment and was promised that they would get her in and out quickly. After the assistant checked her mother's eyes, they waited in the exam room for 25 minutes for the doctor to sign off on the prescription refill. They could hear the doctor down the hall chatting and laughing with his employees. As my wife's mother began to become agitated, she finally stepped into the hall and told the assistant that they were leaving. At that point, the doctor came and signed the prescription.

Professional and friendly service.

Have been going to Richens for over 6 years and find them to be excellent. This yearly visit went quicker than normal. I waited 5 min in the waiting room and was done within 30 min! Highly recommend these doctors.

The new facility is top notch and outstanding. The staff are amazing, very kind and compassionate. I just had my cataracts done and I am so happy with the outcome. I highly recommend Southwest Surgery. Dr May and all the nurses and staff. Thank you all for your wonderful care ❤
