Kept trying to up sell me on eye surgery and then billed me for my exam that I was told was going to be covered by my insurance, and my insurance did pay. So it seems to me they raised the prices from what they told me to double dip. Went with Waite Vision up north and actually saw an eye doctor, instead of their assistants. Worth the travel to Lehi for it, as I am actually getting my monies worth.
Friendly office staff, knowledgeable doctors and most current technology. Highly recommend!
Dr Richens did my injection today to treat BVRO. I was treated elsewhere for two years and suffered swelling, pain and bloodshot eye during and after. Today no pain no redness no swelling. I had no idea it could be this easy. Wish I’d not suffered for two years with someone else
I found the staff to be very kind and pleasant. The office was clean, and my appointment was on time. I was very happy with my experience!
Had my pre-surgery workup for cataract surgery on both eyes today. I was very impressed with the facility and also with the technician who handled all of my scans. It was a very pleasant experience working with such professional and caring staff members.
My experience with Richens at the beginning was good. Then the follow-up was extremely faulty. My first question when I went to them was regarding their advertisement of being able to correct a stigmatism. I was not told specifically as to the choice of lens that getting the more expensive one had a halo but that would improve. Not true. The contrast badwas so that I had to have a headlamp shining directly onto a page of a book if it was not stark white and black. When I went in for my follow-up after the surgery I noticed that my left eye was somewhat blurry. Also I was told that the floater dark spots in my vision would eventually go away, whereas at the beginning I was told if I had any they would immediately remove them. When I went in to have them removed he said he was leaving them because they would eventually go away. It has been over a year and I still have them. Had I known this would be the result of the more expensive treatment, I would have elected to get the less expensive LASIK. I think I was sold a bill of goods on the most expensive lens replacement. My vision has regressed that I now have to wear glasses to read. Had I known all of this I never would have paid the extra money that insurance did not cover to get the expensive lenses. I would have been better off. All I can say is buyer beware.
