Very deceptive about costs and the price of procedures. Front office, billing staff and medical staff are arrogant and elitist when you ask them questions regarding actual costs. To me it is nothing but a cash driven operation with a touch of left wing how dare you question us attitude. Be aware and don't be afraid to shop around. My experience there was creepy.

Dr Jones was wonderful. Very nice, professional and thorough in her exam. She answered all my questions without seeming hurried, even though it was a very busy day for her.

Doctor S was early for my 8:am appointment. He saw me at 7:50. I said jokingly "don't you need to warm up? (To start your day.) He said, " let's go"

I have gone to Richens Eye Center for the past three years, and Dr. Wagoner and Dr. May have provided excellent care! However, I was unexpectedly switched over to Dr. Lister without being notified. Huge mistake! Dr. Lister gave me a new prescription and told me to return to pick up the trial contacts in a few weeks. When I asked for a printout of the prescription, they told me I would get it after I tried the trials. I tried the trials for a week, and they made my vision far worse than before. I called and explained that the trails were not working and needed new ones. They told me I needed to come back for another appointment at the Saint George location. When I arrived, the nurse told me they did not have my correct trials at their location. I was confused and explained that the trails were not working and I needed to be re-examined. The nurse told me he would get Dr. Lister to discuss my options. I sat there waiting and could hear the nurse explaining my situation to Dr. Lister. Dr. Lister told the nurse what to say to me, and the nurse returned and told me what Dr. Lister told him to say. He told me they intentionally gave me the wrong contact trials. That was extremely frustrating because Dr. Lister never came back to talk with me and explain what happened. They said they would have "the correct" trials in a week or so and to come back to get them. When I went back in a week, they tried giving me the same trials they had given me before. I told them they were the same, and they still refused to provide me with a copy of the prescription. They wasted my time and wanted me to go back for another appointment to figure it out. I understand mistakes happen, but making someone come back for three appointments and not talking to your patient about what's happening is ridiculous. I have never had this problem before with any eye doctor. I will not be going back. If you are thinking about going to Richens Eye Center avoid Dr. Lister.
